Look at the Ring I Got in My Jewelry In Candles Black Cherry Tart

I was provided a Jewelry in Candles Black Cherry Tart for review purposes. All opinions are 100% my own and may differ from yours. I will only endorse companies, products and services that I believe, based on my own experiences, are worthy of endorsement.

Jewelry in Candles is one of my new favorite things. I love them for three main reasons:

  1. They are 100% soy.
  2. They are candles. Really. They make my home smell good.
  3. They have jewelry inside them. What girl doesn’t love jewelry? Well, this girl sure does.

If you visit my home you will see candles. At least one candle in every room of my home with the exception of my son’s bedroom and playroom. I’ve always loved candles. The ambiance a candle gives and the fragrance or aromas that fill a room from burning them.

Recently I heard about Jewelry In Candles. I loved what I was hearing and when Trisha Haas presented me with the opportunity to try one, I jumped at the chance.

I grabbed a quick video of my ring reveal. Check it out…

I was so excited when my tarts arrived and couldn’t wait to burn them and see the ring that was inside. Yes, I knew my tarts contained a ring in a size 8, because that’s what I requested.

However, the Jewelry in Candles can contain men or women’s rings, earrings, or necklaces. I think the next time I want a surprise piece of jewelry in my Jewelry In Candle. The anticipation of burning the candle to be surprised with what awaits in the all-natural 100% soy wax would be a lot of fun.

I placed my tart in a candle warmer and went about cleaning my kitchen as I was greeted by the sweet aroma of black cherry filling up my home — I wish you could smell it!

When I was done I checked on my tart and I could see the prize waiting for me. I used a pair of tweezers to pluck the tin foil wrapped jewelry out of the melting wax.

When I unwrapped the ring which was also inside a little plastic bag, I was thrilled. It is a beautiful ring, as you can see from the above photo. It’s a silver band with an amethyst gemstone. Gorgeous!

Besides tarts you can also get JIC in 21 oz. Candles (next on my list).

I cannot recommend Jewelry in Candles enough. What great gift ideas, especially for Christmas… oh, and teacher gifts!

  10. Love the idea of them in tarts vs a full size candle! Looks like a really pretty ring! I totally want these!

  11. That would be really fun to see what you end up with. I wonder if I could be patient enough to wait for the wax to melt.

  12. I love the two gifts in one! I adore your ring. I don’t wear rings often (other than my wedding ring, of course), but if I got something pretty like that I’d probably reconsider!

  13. Beautiful and I just love this concept. Definitely a true double gift. I think the ring in your wax is especially neat because Amethyst is my birthstone.

  14. That’s such a fun idea! I think I’d like earrings 🙂

  15. I would love for them to come out with one with bracelets, because I love bracelets more than any type of jewelry. Rings are nice too, though. 🙂

  16. That’s a nice ring. I haven’t tried JIC yet, but my sister and niece are reps so I’m sure I’ll order something eventually.
