I shared with you recently how excited we are for the release of the movie The Boxtrolls coming to theaters on 9/26 and that there is a Boxtrolls sweepstakes going on right now…. well, my son decided he wanted to make his own Boxtroll figure and enter the sweepstakes himself.
My son started on his Boxtroll a couple of nights ago but didn’t like the way it was turning out and decided to start over, but he plans on getting it done over the weekend.
He thought about making it from a box, which is what I recommend, but he is determined (with some help from his dad) to make it from clay. I can tell you that if I made it from clay, it probably would not resemble a Boxtroll. However, my son (and husband) are very artistic.
When he gets it done, I will take a photo of it and share it on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, using the hashtags #TheBoxtrolls and #BuildABoxtrollSweeps.
It’s that simple.
See if your child(ren) would like to make his/her own Boxtroll and enter The Boxtrolls Patch Sweepstakes too. The winner will receive an all-expense paid trip for 4 to the L.A. movie premier of The Boxtrolls!
No purchase necessary. 18+ years old. 50 US States + District of Columbia only. 8/4/14-9/5/14. Official rules.
I hope your kids have as much fun as my son is building their Boxtrolls!

That is so neat that he is making his own boxtrolls figure. I’m sure it will come out great.
What a great sweepstakes! I think my grandson might like to enter. Good luck to your son!
I can’t wait to see what your son and husband make. It’s great that they work together.
Wow how cool. Good for him for making his own boxtroll. I’m sure it will be super cute.
This is so cool, I don’t know too much about The Boxtrolls but I know my kids would love doing this!
