I loved this writing prompt from Mama Kat's — Close your eyes, open a dictionary, and point to a word. Does your word mean anything special to you? Well, I must say… Yes! The word I pointed to was "hibernate".
According to the Webster's Dictionary for Students, Hi-ber-nate vb, means, to pass all or part of the winter in an inactive state in which the body temperature drops and breathing slows. Most Winters, this is exactly how I feel. I just want to stay in till Winter is over.
Ah, but this Winter has been more like Spring. We've had a few cold (not bitterly cold, mind ya) days, but it's been a very mild Winter. So I've not felt the urge to hibernate. But Winter's not over yet.
Hibernating is just wishful thinking though, who has time to hibernate? Not me.

Sometimes I feel like I’m hibernating while I’m awake…is that possible? Those days are harsh! lol
Me neither!
Aww, that bear looks so comfy!
I wish that was an option sometimes, especially now with this horrible cold I have.
Oh that is so me. I love to stay in and not go out in the winter Brrr too cold for me luv the pic
I wish! Just for a few hours?
hibernate -is nice in theory, but I don’t think I could do it! 🙂
