Guest Post written by our friend Mason Abbott
I have a great husband, and I try to recognize that every day. When
you’ve been together for as long as we have, it’s easy to lose sight of
things. We have been married for 20 years now, and sometimes I’m
surprised we’ve made it this far. He’s been driving me crazy lately, so I
have to remind myself of his good qualities.
Maybe I’m a little too
sensitive, but I have been feeling down lately because he hasn’t been
paying much attention to me. Ever since I gave him the green light to go
to satellitestarinternet.com
and get satellite internet for our home, it seems like all he wants to
do is be on the computer. I’m hoping that he is just into his new toy
and that eventually the novelty will wear off. It’s hurtful to me that
he would rather sit in front of a computer than spend time with the kids
and I.
When I get upset I try to think about that gorgeous emerald necklace he
got me for my birthday, or how he helped me take care of my sick mother
when I had to work. There aren’t many men out there who would something
like that, so I guess I could accept the fact that he wants to spend
time on the computer.
I’m glad to read this is a guest post because I was about to be worried about you
@Louise – Me too… lol! My hubby is great. If it were not for him, I couldn’t do the things I do. He is incredibly supportive. I’m very blessed and very thankful! 🙂
I WISH my hubby would learn how to use the computer.
Sounds like my fiance with his college basketball on TV and sports podcasts. He’s great guy, but he drives me bonkers at times. ~lol~
We have to accept the bad with the good 😉
