Some jobs are just perfect for moms with degrees but have for one reason or another decided to stay at home. I decided when I found out we were expecting our son that I wanted to be a stay a home mom.
However, after my son was a year old, I wanted to work again… but still be at home with my son. Although I had a teaching degree, at the time, I couldn’t find any work out of the home teaching positions.
I started researching jobs that I could do while still being at home full-time with my son and ended up designing t-shirts and selling them on Cafepress. Which later led me to blogging as a way to advertise my t-shirt shop.
I fell in love with blogging, and the rest is history.
