I’m still using my slow cooker this summer and thought I’d share with you this delicious, super easy, and low-cost, crock pot meal…. sweet and sour meatballs.

It’s one of my husband’s favorites.

Pour frozen meatballs, pineapple, and chunks of green pepper into the crock pot.

In a large bowl add in water, juice from pineapple can, red wine vinegar, soy sauce, coconut sugar and cornstarch. Mix until well blended.

Pour liquid mixture over meatballs.

Stir and cook on high for 3 hrs. (or low for 5-6 hours).

Don’t be a slave to the kitchen this summer but still have home cooked meals ready when you are, by taking advantage of your crock pot. I still think the crock pot (or slow cooker) is one of the best modern day inventions.

And pick up some slow cooker liners and you won’t have a mess to clean up afterwards.

  2. This is a great meatball recipe! Sounds delicious!!! Another great slow-cooker meatball recipe is: either regular, or sweet and sour meatballs, and a jar of Sweet and Sour Diana Sauce!!! Leave it for a couple of hours, grab a fork, toothpicks, or a nice crust bread roll…and dig in!!!
