We bought our son a Nintendo Switch last year for Christmas, so I’ve been looking for games for it for Christmas this year. And Starlink Battle for Atlas for the Nintendo Switch is a hot game this holiday season, or so my son has informed me. Since both my husband and son are big gamers they loved that I received the Starlink Battle For Atlas and gave it to them as an early Christmas gift.
Starlink Battle for Atlas is an action adventure that any gamer would enjoy. It’s an open-world space saga that features modular toy technology allowing players to assemble and customize real-world physical starships, linking the starships to their game controller, and then launching into an all-out epic adventure across the Atlas star system.
I’ve been known to play video games from time to time, but by no stretch of the imagination do I consider myself a gamer… I am intrigued however with this type of modular toy technology. Technology sure has come a long way.
It can be played as a single player or with a friend in two-player split-screen local co-op.
Each modular component and pilot attached to the starship appears instantly in-game, allowing players to directly affect the course of their battle.
You can play the game with or without the figures/toys, though. Which makes traveling with the game easy.
I’ve been watching my son play and I’m quite fond of the pilot, Fox. I guess I shouldn’t say he’s cute, I mean he is the leader of the Starfox crew. But he is cute.
I also received Starlink Battle Weapons and Pilot Kits and my son is having a blast with them.
You can find Starlink Battle for Atlas at Best Buy. The Starlink Battle for Atlas is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation®4, and Xbox One.
It would make a great Christmas gift and right now is a great time to pick it up for the gamer in your life. Take advantage of this offer before it’s too late…
