Recently I’ve started counting calories again. So I eliminated a lot of snack/junk foods from my diet. Chips being at the top of that list. Thank goodness I discovered Pillsbury Baguette Chips! One thing I really miss is chips.
I’m not depriving myself, mind you. I just decided to not make them readily available in my home. Eliminate the temptation. With Pillsbury Baguette Chips, I don’t feel badly having them in my pantry. I can eat about 21 chips at 130 calories. I can fit that into my daily calorie cap. Yay!
They come in two delicous flavors — Italian Cheese & Herb and Cheddar Sun-dried Tomato. I received 3 bags of each flavor. Yep, six bags of yummy, crunchy, delightfully delicious goodness.
My son and I agree that we both like Cheddar Sun-dried Tomato the best. Believe me though, it is a toss up… because they’re both great. My hubby had to be the odd man out. His favorite is the Italian Cheese & Herb. You can find a coupon for .75 off your purchase of a Pillsbury Baguette Chips here.
Not only do we enjoy eating Pillsbury Baguette Chips straight from the bag, but they’re great in soups (especially tomato soup), and salads. I’m really enjoying them in my salads.
I would love to see more flavors. My son and I are currently brainstorming some ideas. Warning: Be careful getting flavor ideas from a nine-year-old. Just sayin’.
You can “like” Pillsbury on Facebook here. And follow them on Twitter here.
