Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of India; a major IT hub, was attacked by terrorists July 25, 2008, using bombs that were of low intensity and locally made ones. Terrorists used chemicals, nuts and bolts for making these bombs. It appears that terrorists also used timers and mobile phones to trigger all bombs on time.
The first explosion took place around 1:30 PM with the remaining six explosions following a few minutes apart. So far, no terrorist organization has taken responsibility for these blasts.
It is reported that one woman has died and at least fifteen others injured. Authorities do believe now that Islamic terrorist are behind these bomb blasts.
