Today offers so many advances in technology that were not available when I was a pre-teen and teenager. Most of these technological advances are wonderful… making all our lives easier. However, there are also some real issues/threats that come along with them. One of the real issues that our kids face today is with mobile phones.
A few that comes to mind are texting while driving, bullying, privacy issues, over-usage, sexting, and I’m sure more.
So when I was asked to take part in a campaign to help promote mobile safety… I said, “Yes!”
AT&T has made a pledge to be a leader in providing education, resources and tools to help parents and their children better manage mobile safety.

The virtual Mobile Safety School schedule is as follows:
- Oct. 23 at 1p ET – mobile safety for kids 8-11
- Oct. 24 at 1p ET – mobile safety for kids 12-14
- Oct. 25 at 1p ET – mobile safety for kids 15-17
