I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Air Wick. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
I just closed my eyes and inhaled deeply. Mmmmmmm. Know what I smell? Coconuts and island palms. No I’m not on a tropical island. In fact, I’m sitting at my desk in my office.
I can imagine I’m in the lush paradise of the American Samoa, though.
One of my favorite fragrances is coconut, so I couldn’t wait to try the new American Samoa scented oil, one of the new fragrances from Air Wick’s new National Parks Collection.
As a proud supporter of the National Park Foundation (NPF), the official charity of America’s national parks, Air Wick® developed the scents inspired by the unique flora and elements of popular parks such as the Grand Canyon, Denali and American Samoa. This collection brings a sensory park experience into the home.
The limited edition collection was crafted by fragrance experts who spend countless hours creating the perfect harmony of fragrance notes representative of the natural elements found in these national parks and pays homage to the brand’s “The Craft of Fragrance” creative platform.
In conjunction with the National Parks Foundation there are 6 Airwick scents in the collection:
- Grand Canyon – light floral notes of delicate cactus blossoms
- Virgin Island – tropical plumeria and sweet honeysuckle
- American Samoa – sweet native coconut and island palms
- Denali -pure cotton grass and fresh spring air.
- Gulf Island – sun-drenched sweet scents of summertime paradise
- Hawai’i – exotic papaya and hibiscus flower
I love how my home has a gentle essence of each of these new fragrances. I don’t find them overpowering, but definitely noticeable. People will comment on the scents. I know my husband noticed as soon as he came home the other day… he recognized the coconut scent but couldn’t put his finger on the exact fragrance.
He was quite happy with the aroma wafting throughout our home. And today, it poured the rain, so we were stuck inside all day, yet we enjoyed the fragrance of the great outdoors.
I’m enjoying the sweet smell of the Hawai’i in my kitchen and the Virgin Island in my bedroom. It’s like traveling through all the National parks walking through my home. I’ve actually logged in more steps on my Fitbit I’ve noticed since plugging in the oil scented plugins.
I’m using the Denali in my bathroom, it seems like the best fit for a bathroom. As well as the Denali scented candle on my tub when I’m taking a much needed bubble bath.
Note: The Air Wick National Parks Collection is only available for a limited time, so be sure to get ’em before they’re gone.
Which scent are you looking forward to trying the most?
