It’s official, summer is over, and it’s back-to-school time, again. And with a new school year, and hundreds (approximately 1,200 at my son’s school) of kids gathered together in one building, comes the inevitable sniffles, colds, bacteria-spreading cesspool of germs.
Okay, I’m not painting a very pretty picture, and it really isn’t that bleak, but we Moms know that shortly after the start of any new school season we see the colds start up. By the way, I have a good friend who is a germophobe, and would agree 100% with my above description.
Because my son will be spending a good part of his days in close proximity to many other children, I am so glad to have Wet Ones!
I packed Wet Ones in my son’s lunch box this morning. I give him two, so he can use one just before he eats lunch, and one either afterwards, or at any time he may have a snack during the day.
Fortunately, my son is just a wee bit germophobic, so he is happy to use the Wet Ones. And it’s not that he doesn’t get the opportunity to wash his hands during the school day, but I think he feels rushed, so he may either rush washing his hands, or skip it altogether.
So when soap and water aren’t easily available, Wet Ones are the perfect alternative. Wet Ones® Antibacterial Hand Wipes are proven to be just as effective as gel hand sanitizers in killing 99.99% of germs.
But what I really love about the wipes are that they clean better than hand sanitizer gels… you are actually wiping away dirt and messes without drying out skin like alcohol-based hand sanitizers do.
I’ve used Wet Ones® Antibacterial hand wipes for many years. I keep some in my purse, and in my glove compartment, just for emergencies. Better safe than sorry, I say.
Wet Ones® Antibacterial Hand Wipes are available in two fragrances, Fresh and a new and improved Citrus Scent, and come in three convenient forms:
- 40 count canister, which is designed to fit into a standard car cup holder
- 15 count travel pack
- 24 count box of individually wrapped single wipes
Hypoallergenic and enriched with skin conditioning aloe, they are also gentle on skin, which is perfect for someone like me, since I have sensitive skin and suffer from contact dermatitis. And for life’s bigger messes, Wet Ones® Big Ones® wipes are also antibacterial and available in Fresh and Citrus Scent. They come in a 35 count re-sealable pouch and are 50 percent bigger than regular Wet Ones® wipes.
So this school year arm your child with Wet Ones Antibacterial Wipes (and send in extra ones for your child’s teacher) so they’ll only bring home their homework and good grades and not the germs.
I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Wet Ones. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
