Valentine’s hot chocolate bombs are a sweet way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Chocolate or hot chocolate bombs are all the rage right now. I mean, who doesn’t love hot chocolate or hot cocoa? And it is so neat watching chocolate bombs or cocoa bombs in action. Especially Valentine’s hot chocolate bombs.
Nothing beats a good cup of hot chocolate on a cool day, especially a winter or snowy day.
Valentine’s Day is a great time to make Valentine’s hot cocoa bombs. Either for your sweetheart or with the kids. And I think adults love hot chocolate bombs as much as kids do.
Valentine’s Hot Chocolate Bombs are so fun to make and even more fun watching them do their magic when you pour your hot milk over them.
Valentine’s Hot Chocolate Bombs
- 12oz Bag of White Candy Melts
- 1 Tbsp Hot Chocolate Per Bomb
- Mini Marshmallows
- White icing
- Valentine’s Sprinkles (Amazon, Walmart, Hobby Lobby, or Michael’s)
- 6 Sphere Silicone Mold
- Pour candy melts into a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds or until melts have fully melted.
- Spread the candy melts up the sides of the mold until every bit of the mold is covered.
- Let the molds sit for about 5 minutes & re-spread any of the candy melts that sank to the bottom of the molds.
- Place the molds in the refrigerator for about 30-45 minutes.
- Once set, carefully remove the candy melt spheres from the mold.
- Fill half of the spheres with hot cocoa powder, sprinkles, and marshmallows.
- Place a glass plate in the microwave for one minute.
- Remove the plate and immediately place each chocolate sphere on the hot plate to heat the edges.
- Place each heated sphere on each filled sphere. You can use the tip of your finger to smooth the melted candy around the seam.
- Take the icing and draw lines back and forth on the top of your sphere.
- Sprinkle away using the icing as glue.
