Two Free Educational Websites

I want to share with you two great links today. First is Information Please, a wonderful website where you can find information on a myriad of things. There are almanacs, a dictionary, timelines and campaign 2008, to name a few. Infoplease will make a great addition to your educational resources. According to their site, Information Please has been providing authoritative answers to all kinds of factual questions since 1938—first as a popular radio quiz show, then starting in 1947 as an annual almanac, and since 1998 on the Internet. Now that is a great record! Check out infoplease and be sure to add it to your favorites!

The second website you should check out is Funbrain. It is a great website for free fun games for you kids. The benefit is they will have fun and learn at the same time. There are math and reading games, grammar and spelling, music, geography and science and more. Your children will love Funbrain and you will feel good knowing they are learning. An added bonus is that they are also learning how to use a computer. And with proper supervision, the computer has become the number one educational resource. Click on the banner below and have fun learning!
