The gifts I've bought my Mother over the years have run the gambit from perfume and clothing, to delivered roses and plants/flowers she could hang or plant herself. Then after I became a mother myself, I realized the things I wanted most for myself on Mother's Day, was anything with my son's beautiful face on it. Or anything made by his little hands.
Something personal that reminded me of why I was receiving a gift on Mother's Day — I am a mother. And, my Mom wanted anything that had her grandson on it or in it. Proud grandma cannot get enough photos of her grandson.
So speaking for myself and my mom, you can't go wrong with photo gifts. We moms have a weakness for anything with our children's faces on it. We like showing off our pride and joys. I'd love to tell you what I'm getting my Mom for Mother's Day, but I don't want to spoil the surpise. I mean, she knows that it will be a customized photo gift of some kind. I can't disappoint her, can I?

Oh, and just in case my hubby reads this… I would love to have a customized photo iPhone case (hint, hint) for Mother's Day.
My favorite Mother's Day gift so far, was a framed photo of my son that my husband had framed for me. It was a photo that he took that I didn't know about, so it was such a surprise. It was personal and heart-felt… and just a beautiful black and white photo. Do you have a favorite or special Mother's Day gift you've received? We'd love to hear about it!
