Two words that don’t seem to go together when I think of soups is… light and creamy. Creamy conjures up words like — rich, thick, full-flavored, and, well, lots of calories. Not “light” or low-calorie.

But that is exactly what Progresso Light Creamy soups are. In fact, they are all the descriptive words I used above, plus, delicious.

I couldn’t be happier about these new 100 calories or less tasty soups. Because the one thing I love about fall is eating soups. What better food on an Autumn day… right? I know.

Since I’m trying to watch what I eat, I love being able to have the taste, warmth, and comfort of Progresso Light & Creamy soups without piling on the calories (or the pounds). Here are the two new flavors added to the more than 40 tasty flavors:

  • The Creamy Potato with Bacon & Cheese variety boasts pieces of potato with savory bacon and rich cheese flavor
  • The Chicken Pot Pie Style variety exudes a home-style essence with cuts of white-meat chicken, hearty potatoes and classic vegetables

I love both flavors, but if I HAVE to choose, I’ll go with the Creamy Potato with Bacon & Cheese. They had me at “potato” and “bacon”. Two of my favorite foods. These Weight Watchers® endorsed soups have 100 calories and a 2 PointsPlus® value per serving if you happen to be doing Weight Watchers®.

  66. I like the potato bacon with cheese. I am receiving chemo have no taste buds. Seem like the only thing I can eat that has any taste is the soup, thank God!! It’s warm and I enjoy it too. Keeps me off the drip bags. For me it’s a life savor. Thanks for listening.
