Tonight starts the season 3 premiere of 'Heroes' on NBC. I am a fan but it is my DH that is the bigger fan. It is because of him that I got into 'Heroes'. So I'm looking forward to watching the countdown show that gives some background info, sneak peeks and behind the scene stuff starting at 8:00 p.m. and the 'Heroes' two hour season opener starting at 9:00 pm. EST. I feel confident that most people, whether you've watched 'Heroes' or not, have heard the tag line "Save the cheerleader, save the world".
The writer's strike put Heroes on the back burner for a bit; the stars of 'Heroes' say season 2 was broken by the strike so it was more of a half season.
I will say that season 1 was very well written and a treat to tune into. However, season two was a bit disappointing. They added so many regulars that it was hard to follow at times. There are twelve season regulars.
My favorite two characters are Milo Ventimiglia who plays Peter Petrelli who can absorb other peoples abilities; this means he can fly, walks thru walls, disappear before your eyes, regenerate, time travel and more, plus he almost blew up New York City. My other favorite character is Masi Oka who plays Hiro Nakamura, who time travels. Hiro is a sweet and gentle hero.
Heroes has many surprises and I think this season will be full of even more. I think we can expect more evil guys than just Sylar.
If you are a 'Heroes' fan or if you are just beginning to watch I highly recommend you check out the Official Heroes Site where you can make your own hero, watch webisodes and so much more. Also check out The Official/Unofficial fan Site for Heroes.
I would love to hear from any 'Heroes' fans and if you watch the season premiere September 22, 2008 on NBC at 9:00 p.m. EST., I would love to hear what you thought of it. Hope to hear from you!
