I don’t know how many times I was up in the middle of the night taking my son’s temperature. Especially after he started Kindergarten through the first grade. I think he finally started building up immunities by then.
I did and still do, place my hand or wrist to my son’s forehead to see if it feels warm. It’s instinct.
If he feels warm to my touch, then I know I need to get the thermometer out, to verify my suspicion, and to get a reading on just how little/much of a fever he may be running.

Mother’sTouch is too cool
I like the Mother’s Touch. I am getting my very first grand in November and I am amazed how much things have changed since my son was born in 1980. I just love all the new advances knowing my little precious granddaughter will have all the best. And speaking of advances, I found out in March I had breast cancer and had a double mastectomy, now doing chemo then reconstruction all for my sweet baby girl. I survived!!!!!
