Valentine’s Day Appetizers – Prosciutto Cherry Bites

One of my favorite things about the holidays is the food. I especially like to make and try new appetizers. Valentine’s Day appetizers are especially fun because they’re usually easy. I’ve been known to make a meal out of appetizers, too. They’re fun to make and more fun to eat… like these Prosciutto Cherry Bites.

If you like cherries, prosciutto, and mozzarella cheese, you will LOVE this appetizer. The combination of flavors is heavenly.

Your sweetheart will love this Valentine’s Day appetizer.

They’re also the perfect party appetizers. It’s an easy recipe to make and your guests will be singing your praises.

Valentine’s Day Appetizers

Prosciutto Cherry Bites

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Pit cherries. This cherry pitter is cheap and easy to use.
  2. Gently gather one slice of prosciutto.
  3. Pierce with a toothpick.
  4. Add mozzarella ball.
  5. Top toothpick with cherry.
  6. Optional, dust lightly with ½ teaspoon of oregano. Repeat the method until the desired amount is reached.

Oregano Dipping Oil

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl pour ½ cup of olive oil in a bowl.
  2. Add ½ tablespoon of oregano and parmesan.
  3. Stir.

As you can see, this appetizer calls for a few ingredients, is easy to find, and is easy to make. And it’s easy to double, triple, or quadruple this recipe.
