I scream, you scream, we all scream for no churn ice cream!
My family loves ice cream. You will almost always find ice cream of some kind in my freezer. On the rare occasion when we have run out of ice cream, I will make homemade ice cream.
No churn chocolate ice cream is one of my favorites to make. I mean, who doesn’t love ice cream in the summer?
Okay, we love ice cream any time of the year, but especially enjoy it during the warmer months.

What is No Churn Ice Cream
No churn ice cream simply means ice cream made without using an ice cream maker or machine. You just need an electric mixer (hand mixer) that most of us have in our kitchens. You could even possibly do it with a whisk – if you have strong arms… start doing those push-ups now.
The reason I love no churn ice cream is that it’s so easy to make. After you try this easy, three-ingredient no churn ice cream, it will become a favorite in your home, too. Try this no-churn ice cream recipe yourself, and you’ll see what I mean.
Did I say 3 ingredients?

See, I told you it couldn’t be easier to make homemade no-churn chocolate ice cream. It’s so easy that it’s the perfect summer treat or dessert for kids to make.
It’s creamy and decadent and better than any store-bought ice cream you can buy at the grocery store.
And even better, with this homemade ice cream, you can feel good about feeding your family with only 3 ingredients and not all the added preservatives and stuff that you can’t even pronounce.
You don’t need any special or expensive kitchen equipment to make this chocolate ice cream either.
Since it does take between six to eight hours to set, either make it earlier in the day or the day ahead before you want it.
I’ll be making some homemade waffle cones soon, and I’ll link them up here, so stay tuned.
I think this chocolate ice cream would go great with my Vanilla Cappuccino cupcakes. It would also pair perfectly with my chocolate flourless cake you can make in the instant pot.
And I highly recommend this delicious Milk Boba Tea recipe.
