Today's 30 Days About Me challenge is, heck, no easier than days one and two… it's my favorite TV show. I still can't give you just one. I mean do I tell you my favorite TV show as a chilld? My favorite as a teen? And speaking of past shows, in the 70's I loved Dark Shadows. I was a young girl and it would be on when I got home from school.
Oh, and there was:
- The Waltons
- Little House on the Prairie
- Knots Landing
- Dallas
- The Cosby Show
- ER
- Friends
- Jericho
- BSG
- Lost
- 24
- Six Feet Under
Enough about the past. Today, I actually don't won't much television. I DVR a few shows and watch some On Demand. So I will share with you those:
Grey's Anatomy – I got hooked from the first episode. I've formed a bond with the characters and just can't stop watching it. Although the most beautiful couple to ever grace the small screen isn't no longer on Grey's… I still love it. This scene with Izzie, played by Kathrine Heigl, and Denny, played by the most gorgeous man ever, Jeffery Dean Morgan (and yes, my hubby knows how I feel about Jeffery Dean Morgan), still makes me cry. Every time I watch it.
True Blood – Okay, I will say that last season and so far this season, I not super impressed. True Blood is one of those guilty pleasures for me. And I've always had a thing for vampires… remember in the 70's I loved Dark Shadows?
Torchwood – I'm a big Sci-Fi fan. My hubby has influenced me a lot in this genre. But I've grown to love many shows that fall in this category. Torchwood is AWEsome. I'm currently watching TORCHWOOD: Miracle Day. The main character, Captain Jack Harkness, is probably one of the most interesting characters on TV. Not to mention he's not bad on the eyes either. A brief syopsis of this season is – One day, nobody dies. All across the world, nobody dies. And then the next day, and the next, and the next, people keep aging – they get hurt and sick – but they never die. The result: a population boom, overnight. It's a STARZ original series, and I highly recommend it!
Dexter – Ah, Dexter. Okay, yes, he's a serial killer. But, in his defense, he only kills those that deserve it. Murderers, child molesters, the scum of the Earth that get away with it. He makes sure, they get their justice. I love Michael C. Hall. He was also a main character in Six Feet Under, one of my favorite shows ever. I can't wait till season six starts.
There you have it… some of my favorite TV shows. I'd love to hear what your favorite it is!
Ooh I really miss Six Feet Under. I’m glad that I watch Peter Krause in Parenthood now.
Becca – I’ve only been able to catch Parenthood a couple of times, but it’s a great show.
Carissa – I love Netflix! 🙂
@Toni – I know… one of the saddest scenes on TV, I’ve ever watched.
