The holidays are here and Black Friday shopping starts in just four days. Most of us start our Christmas shopping on Black Friday, Cyber Monday, or just after. It’s definitely that time of year when we start holiday shopping for those on our Christmas list.
This guide consists of some of my favorite things I’ve either bought myself or received for the home this year that I really love.
Ultimate Gift Guide for the Home
Airfree Iris 3000
There are two things I’ve never liked about air purifiers: 1) changing the filters every 2-3 months and 2) the noise. The Airfree Iris 3000, as well as all Airfree purifiers, utilizes an exclusive technology so their purifiers are silent and NEVER requires filters or maintenance.
You just choose the room you want to place your Airfree purifier, plug it in, and forget about it. The Iris 3000 is recommended for rooms up to 650 sq ft. In 24-hours you’ll be breathing in clean purified air.
It has a night light with one of the 10 adjustable light colors, which are Red, Rose, Violet, Blue, Light Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Brown and Grey. You can also turn it off altogether if you prefer not to have a night light.
About Airfree Iris 3000
Airfree is the natural solution to asthma, respiratory allergies and mold. Eliminates dust mites, bacteria, fungi, virus, pollen, allergens of domestic animals and other microorganisms from the air.
This patented Thermodynamic TSS Technology destroys mold, dust mites, bacteria, viruses, pollens, pet dander, tobacco and other organic allergens.
Airfree also reduces indoor harmful ozone levels. It is perfect for mold contaminated areas as well as asthma and allergy sufferers.
I decided to use the Airfree Iris 3000 in our bedroom. Since we spend at least 7 hours straight every night in the bedroom I think it would be nice to know I’m breathing in clean air nightly.
I think eventually I’ll probably get an Airfree purifier for every room of our house. I do know that tonight, I’ll breathe easier.

Fissler Adamant Fry Pan
I am in love with the Fissler Adamant fry pan. It’s a high-quality durable pan with a unique non-stick seal made with silicon carbide particles.
Of course, good fresh ingredients are important in preparing meals for our family but just as important is the cookware we use. And the Fissler Adamant fry pan allows you to cook up those quality ingredients for a perfect meal.
The Fissler Adamant fry pan, made in Germany, also has residual heat. This means it retains heat allowing you to cut off or reduce the heat and continue to cook. Like when I fry bacon, I turn off the heat as the bacon is just about done, finish cooking the bacon, remove it and add an egg for a perfect sunny side up egg.
Capresso froth Select
The Capresso froth Select is one of my husband’s favorite new kitchen appliances. He loves cappuccinos and being able to prepare cafe-quality frothed milk for his cappuccinos is perfect for him.
The froth Select automatic milk frother does cold froth (for frappuccinos), hot froth (for cappuccinos), hot milk, or hot chocolate. Making it a versatile countertop frother.
I can’t wait to make hot chocolate with the Capresso froth Select this winter. You can use chocolate chips, chunks, syrup, or powder to make hot chocolate.
It comes with two frothing disks and one heating disk, that stores securely in the bottom of the base. By using different disks with different settings, you can select and vary milk texture for trendy flat whites, cappuccinos, lattes, hot cocoa and more.
The removable stainless steel pitcher’s handle stays cool and accommodates 16 ounces of milk for frothing or 20 ounces for heating. And the pitcher is dishwasher safe making it convenient for everyday use.
The Capresso froth Select milk frother would make a great gift this holiday season. I know my husband loves it and uses it to froth milk for his cappuccinos every day.
Silicone Baking Mats
I received these Velesco silicone baking sheets from a Secret Santa last year and use them almost every single day. I had a Silpat for a long time but it was looking pretty rough so I was happy to get something to replace it.
I can tell you that after using both a Silpat and these silicone baking mats there is absolutely no difference in them at all, except for the price. These silicone baking mats are half the price.
Hand-Free Baggie Storage Bag Holder
This little handy device has been so useful. If you make meals ahead of time this hands-free baggy opener is a time-saver. It’s great for filling up baggies for lunches, too.
It’s extremely economical. Grab your hands-free baggy holder from Amazon and you can thank me later.
Linen Upholstered Headboard
We redid our son’s bedroom this past summer and finally got him a new bed. He still had bunk beds in his room and had so outgrown them. So, we bought him a queen-size bed and a new headboard.
He loves his new room and the beige linen upholstered headboard really made a big difference in the room.
The best part is, the Modway Lily Tufted Linen headboard is cheap and won’t break the bank but will look sophisticated and stylish in any bedroom.
I will be updating this guide to add more of my favorite things for the home.
