We have too many miles between us now, but no matter how far apart we are physically, you are always a part of me. I won’t be able to see you on Mother’s Day, but I will be thinking of you. And now with my son, I know what you experienced on all those Mother’s Days.
Mom you have taught me so many lessons that I use daily. And, I really don’t think you know just how funny you are… because you are! There are things that Cody says or does that remind me of you, too.
I strive every day to be the mother to Cody you are/were to me. But yours are large shoes to fill, though. I fall short, but I’ll never stop trying.
Thank you for shaping me into the woman I am today. I know you made so many sacrifices for your kids. You always put us first. You are one of the most unselfish people I know.
I am so proud to call you Mom. And my prayer is that my son will always feel for me the way I do for you.
I miss you and love you, Mom! I hope you have a wonderful Mother’s Day!
And I will also think of another great mom tomorrow. My best friend’s Mom, Rosetta. I will never forget you… and have such wonderful and fond memories of you. You are greatly missed.
Happy Mother’s Day to all my family and friends that are Moms!
I love my mother as the trees love water and sunshine – she helps me grow, prosper, and reach great heights.
