The Common Cold (Infographic)

I so hope I don't jinx myself, but I don't get a cold (and never have had the flu)very often. I've been extremely fortunate. However, it is getting that time of the year again, when those cold germs seem to be going around.

The common cold is one of the most common diseases in the United States. The time that the average American spends sick with the cold in their lifetime is equal to about five years. Wow! Here's a basic overview of the common cold:

  2. I love this graphic. I am sick all the time. My body grabs every single bad thing there is when I leave the house.

  3. @Crystal – I would usually agree. However, with the recent studies that Vitamin C doesn’t do anything to help ward off colds, plus the fact that vitamins in general are actually not good for you, in fact, bad for you, makes me think twice. Who knows?!?!
