Okay, not so “Wordless” Wednesday…
This past Sunday we went on a hike in the Smoky Mountains (so blessed to live so near these beautiful mountains). I’ve actually done this particular hike three times now. Once before Cody, and twice now after having him. Although he was too young to really remember it.
The hike is an easy to lightly moderate 3.4 mile hike if you do it in its entirety. We started at the Metcalfe bottom trail which is a 0.6 mile (1.2 round trip) to the Greenbrier School House, then you can go on a 1.1 (2.2 total) mile hike up to the Walker Sister’s cabin. And I highly recommend you do.
It is a gorgeous hike.
We had so much fun. It was an unseasonably 70 degrees, sunny, and breathtakingly beautiful. If you would like to know more about the history of the Little Greenbrier Schoolhouse and the Walker Sister’s Cabin, just click on the link.
