Send a Hanes Virtual Comfort Package & Support Breast Cancer Awareness

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness. Chances are great that you or someone you love has or will have breast cancer. My hopes are that one day soon this will change. I've seen so many great ways to raise breast cancer awareness and ways to donate and help the cause. One way that I was made aware of recently, is Hanes. Hanes has launched the Virtual Comfort Package app on the Pink tab of the Hanes Facebook page. This app makes it easy for you to express you love, and show your support, as well as comfort those in your life that need it.

To send a free Virtual Comfort Package to your friends and family, just click on the Pink Tab on the Hanes Facebook page, and follow the prompts to customize your package with photos, recipes, music, videos, T-Shirt designs, and messages. You can send Virtual Comfort Packages to as many people as you like.

Here's the really great part — for each package sent, Hanes will donate $1 (up to $25,000) to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), which promotes early cancer detection and provides mammograms for those in need.

One of the reasons I love Hanes so much is their commitment to giving back. Since 2009, Hanes has made cash and in-kind donations totaling $1 million and is donating up to $125,000 to NBCF this year.

I hope you'll join me in showing your support for Hanes ongoing efforts by sending a virtual comfort package, which will result in a donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation at no cost to you and help bring a little comfort in someone's day!

Disclosure: I participated in this campaign as a member of One2One Network and am eligible for a prize drawing. No monetary exchange took place. All opinions stated in the post are my own.

  1. @blueviolet – absolutely! $1 might not seem like much, but if a lot of people send virtual gifts, it turns into a lot of money… going to a great cause.
