I am very lucky to live near the Great Smoky Mountains. Which makes us double lucky because we love to hike. I believe that the most beautiful hiking trails are situated among these majestic mountains. And the new 96 ounce Ready-to-Drink Kool-Aid is a delicious fruit beverage perfect for our active lifestyle.
We usually go on a hike every other week during the spring, summer, and fall, with an occasional hike in the winter, if it’s an unusually warm winter’s day. This past winter was brutal. And as cold as it was and lasted into March, we just took our first hike of the year, Saturday… the end of April.
We have a lot of time to make up for. This being our first hike since the end of last fall we decided to take it easy and go for a shorter hike.
I stopped by Walmart to pick up a bottle of the 96 oz. Ready to drink Kool-Aid for our hike. We always have water but sometimes (especially my husband) we like a refreshing fruit beverage to quench our thirst.
Whether it’s to a sporting event, picnic, cookout, or hiking, to name a few, the 96 ounce Ready-to-Drink Kool-Aid is a tasty fruit beverage to take on the go. No need to grab a pitcher and mix, it’s ‘Ready-to-Drink’.
After picking up the Ready-to-Drink Kool-Aid, I got our supplies ready for the hike, and off we went.
As I mentioned earlier, we decided on a relatively easy, shorter hike to Laurel Falls in the Great Smoky Mountains. It’s an easy to moderate 1.3 mile (each way for a total 2.6 miles) hike, culminating at a gorgeous and cool waterfall.
After our hike we found a picnic table and stopped for a refreshing #KoolOff with our Ready-to-Drink Tropical Punch Kool-Aid and some trail mix for a little snack. The Kool-Aid was delicious and refreshing.
We’re ready for a longer (and harder) hike next time with our ready to drink Kool-Aid.
FYI:
Jim Dillard, pro fisherman, could be coming to your local Walmart to help promote the new 96oz Kool-Aid bottles! There will be product giveaways, t-shirts, games, and more fun activities!

It’s been too long since I had kool aid and I always loved it.
Yummy, it has been a long time since I have had a glass of Kool aid.
I’m jealous of all the great hiking spots nearby! I’d love to enjoy a cup of Kool-aid next to a roaring waterfall! #Client
Kool aid is a favorite in our house too! The kids love them and they made great addition to a clear soda.
I can’t think of summer without thinking about koolaid.. HA! What memories of drinking it poolside with my Mama… Will have to start building the same memories with my kids
Long time since I had Koolaid! It’s great to see that they are doing events!
My husband keeps this at work! He just found it at Walmart the other day.
Yes, I love Kool-AId! I really could use some of that right now! I’m going to keep this in mind.
That big ready-to-drink bottle is so much more convenient than the powder packets!
I hear so much about Kool Aid! It sounds perfect for hiking!
Such pretty scenery!!!! Looks like a great drink to cool off with! I haven’t had Kool-Aid in years!
I remember drinking Kool-Aid as a kid. I also remember using the Kool-Aid powder to make a hair dye as well, lol.
My daughter really enjoys Kool-Aid. Having a ready made option is great because I never seem to remember to make it before hand to give it enough time to chill in the fridge with the powder!
I miss the days of drinking Kool Aid after playing around the neighborhood as a kid. I remember Ice Berry Blue was my all time favorite flavor.
I had no idea that Kool-Aid came in a ready-made bottle now, how handy! I wish I lived near somewhere gorgeous to hike, too!
Gosh! I haven’t had Kool-aid in a LONG time!! Now I want it 🙂
I haven’t had Kool-Aid in a LONG time, but my brother-in-law drinks it like water!
These would be great to have on hand while hiking when you want something more than just water. Love the price too!
I grew up on Kool-Aid and now kids drink it too.
I didn’t know they had ready made Koolaid. I remember how fun it was to pick out your favorite packets at the store!
Koolaid was a staple in our house growing up but we haven’t served it here in years! I think the last time we had it was to color homemade play dough!
That is a great price! Your views while hiking were amazing!
What a pretty hike, I love that waterfall. Nice that Kool-aid can be there on the go for you!
Wow, I didn’t realize Kool Aid came I big bottles like that. We have always liked Kool Aid over other drinks.
Refreshing and affordable….my kinda beverage!
I love the pre-made bottles! I just picked up a few the other week. I used them mixed with fresh fruit and other teas for some fun mocktails!
That’s awesome that it comes ready to go!!
I haven’t had koolaid since I was about 5 or 8 yrs old. Tried it twice as an adult and still don’t like it, however kids love it. I typically get them the hawaiin C drink and thought that was what this was at first but now I see they have kool aid for the same price so I may have to stop by the store and get them some. I can’t stand making it because of the smell but I could totally do this. Your hike looks wonderful, especially the waterfall. You have some beautiful territory up there. Enjoy it.
Kool-aid makes the perfect addition to a summer hike !
Ooh, a glass of Koil Aid sounds like a great treat after a hike in the mountains!
Beautiful scenery! I make Kool-aid a lot trying to stay away from the soda.
Lovely pics & this is a lot easier than mixing.
This was my fave drink as a kid.
Wow, had no idea they were making this now. It would be the perfect grab and go drink.
What a beautiful place to hike
Man, that waterfall is gorgeous. Great pic.
