I don’t make resolutions… I feel they’re doomed to fail. And failure is NOT an option. I had a good head start. If you’re a new reader, you can check out my weight loss challenge as well as my sistahood pledge to #mamavation.
I’ve thought a lot about my fitness goals, and I’ve decided to make weekly short-term goals. I’ll do another post soon with all my long term and short term goals for the new year.
As for now, here’s this week’s fitness goals:
- Drink 8 oz. more water a day. This time of year is difficult for me to drink water. I probably drink between 24 – 36 oz. a day, so even though 8 ounces more is still not enough, it’s an improvement.
- Get in at least 30 minutes of cardio 3 days a week.
- Continue to count calories and conscious eating.
- Lose at least 1 pound.
My weight loss since October 15, 2012 – 15 pounds. I have 21.5 pounds to go to reach my ultimate goal.
This post is sponsored by Schick Intuition and hosted by Mamavation – a community dedicated to obesity prevention & weight loss for women and I’m writing this to be entered into a giveaway.
very simple, attainable goals. And congrats on the weight loss so far. Best wishes
I think this week’s goals are realistic and totally attainable. Kick some butt!
Way to go! I have just started Weight Watchers myself and I have lost 4 lbs in a little over a week. I know I can do this now because I have been struggling with other problems that have started to calm down, so now I can focus on this. but we are making it a whole family lifestyle change.
Your goals are more than reasonable so I think you’ll absolutely do it!
Congrats on those 15 pounds!
I love how simple your goals are. You are setting yourself up to actually obtain them. I think that is one of my biggest pitfalls is I have very large goals instead of baby stepping it.
Great goals! Simple and attainable, looking forward to reading about your success.
I am with you on the water. I NEVER drink water so I am making a point to start with 1 glass a day and hoping as the year goes on I will add more and more.
