I've been having stomach issues for some time now… and for the last two weeks I haven't experienced any trouble at all. Now, I'm not sure if it's the dairy or if it's gluten (breads/grain/wheat). So I'll be slowly adding those back in and see what I have a problem with.
I felt good up until day nine. From that point on, I felt tired. Low energy. I know it was the lack of carbs. I think that was the hardest part for me. As for the exercise, I'm doing it all, but am still following along with the girl that does the moderations. Which means "easier" ways to do the exercises. I'm working up to it. And I can definitely tell a difference.
Anyway, it was just 14-days. Anyone can survive 14 days. I know if I can do it, anyone can do it. I am glad that I can add 300 more calories a day now, though. This makes me a happy camper!
Alright, for the weigh in this morning I was a little disappointed because I had hoped to lose 10+ lbs. I did not cheat once nor miss one workout. If anything, I think I may have eaten too few calories. Okay, back to my weigh-in. Drumroll please….. I had a 7.5 lb loss. Not shabby, I guess. However, my hubby, who is doing it with me, lost 13 lbs. I am truly happy for him. But, sheesh!!! It's just so much easier for men to drop the pounds.
As for measurements, I only took my waist measurements this morning, and I've lost 2 inches. When I do the 45-day check in, I'll list all my measurements. And for my 45-day weight-loss goal – I'd like to lose between five to seven more pounds. Honestly, I'd love to lose a lot more than that, but I'm trying to be realistic.
Again, I'd really love to have any tips, or words of encouragement you'd care to offer. I'll continue to update from time to time with how my progress is going. And if you'd like to join me and start your own 90-Day challenge, you can get it here.
