Many home hunters are heading to the West Coast region with their families, and it’s not difficult to ascertain why. From the gorgeous scenery, top rated school system, endless beaches and beautiful homes, the area has much to offer.

Santa Clarita

One of the safest communities to raise a family in the West Coast lies at the north end of Los Angeles County. Santa Clarita, CA is a beautiful community that focuses on a natural environment. Best known for its open spaces, parks, hiking trails and breathtaking views, it’s one of the most popular areas for home buyers.

In addition to its gorgeous scenery and dedication to a clean environment, the area is committed to a high quality of life as well as development and business growth, with a wide variety of Santa Clarita jobs for its residents.

Because Santa Clarita places its focus on family, it can maintain its small-town feel within the community. It also continues to draw families to the area for its top rated schools in the nation and low crime rate.

Orange County

Orange County is conveniently located from San Diego and Los Angeles, and the area is a diverse and thriving community. It’s popular for both its inland and oceanfront neighborhoods and attracts home buyers of various age groups.

Whether you’re looking for a place to retire or somewhere you can raise a family, Orange County has a host of opportunities to fit most any lifestyle.

The climate in the area is a major draw to house hunters with its mild temperatures and endless supply of sunshine. It’s also the hub of outdoor recreational activities from cycling and running to surfing and boating. Orange County also boasts an array of shops, museums, restaurants and cultural exhibits.

The school district in Orange County is top rated and takes pride in the community’s test scores, extra-curricular activities and parent organizations.

Novato In Marin County

Situated just north of San Francisco is a quaint community ideal for families relocating to the area. Novato has a population that ranges near 50,000 and attracts residents because of its dynamic schools and safe environment.

The school system offers numbers of extracurricular activities that include sports, robotics, performing arts and music. It also has a small-town feel and friendly atmosphere to the community, making it perfect for getting to know your neighbors. Novato has an assortment of museums, parks and popular eateries.

The city is also fairly close to San Francisco, so you can enjoy everything that the area has to offer. The weather is mild year-round, making it idyllic for outdoor activities.

San Diego

If you’re looking for the perfect area to raise your family, you won’t want to overlook San Diego. This is a larger metropolitan city that is dedicated to cutting edge innovation, state-of-the-art technology and one of the safest communities in the country. The city is rich in history and is focused on the environment and protecting endangered animals. It’s also ranked as one of the top school systems in the state and offers a variety of alternative schooling options.

The West Coast is one of the most popular and beautiful places to relocate with your family. With its sandy beaches, mountainous regions, top rated schools and endless business opportunities, the West Coast has your family’s well-being in mind. This makes it the ideal location to call home.

Don’t forget Long Beach – it has some of the top rated schools and hospitals in the country. No big surf anymore since they put in a breakwater back in the 40’s, but that means uncrowded beaches – and there are miles of bike paths along the oceanfront. They have a dog beach, dog parks, Queen Mary, are bicycle friendly and have a world class aquarium. Near all freeways to go to OC or LA. Lots of summer concerts, LB Grand Prix, Gay Pride weekend, LB Marathon, lots of festivals etc etc. And housing prices are lower than most beach cities 🙂
