Couch4UpholsteryPost Looking for a green upholstery cleaner

Okay, it does look better in person than it does in this photo. But it is definitely getting wear from my son lying on it to read every evening. :)

I’ve been working over the last several years to make my house cleaning be as “green” as possible. I only use homemade cleaners or certain ones that are eco-friendly. Since having my son, this is of the utmost importance to me.

I have an off-white living room suite that I need to clean, but was having a hard time finding a green upholstery cleaner. It’s in a room that has rarely been used… until this past year. It has slowly become the “reading” room. Which means it’s getting more wear.

In my defense, I had this off-white furniture before I had my son. Before I ever thought I’d have a child. And it has lasted so long because it has had little use over the last 12+ years.

It’s good quality furniture and I don’t want to use strong and dangerous chemicals on it. It needs to be environmentally safe upholstery cleaners. It needs to be safe for my home. Most importantly… safe for my son.

I don’t want to think about him lying on the couch that has recently been cleaned with harsh, and potentially dangerous chemicals. I worry about enough things, I want to have some peace of mind when it comes to my carpet and upholstery cleaner.

I bet you just melt into that couch, I love that you’re finding green products for it.

I sometimes find it hard to find something that is green and cleans as well as things that aren’t green, but they do exist fortunately!
