I have such good intentions. I do. Yet, my memory just… sucks. My family and friends will attest to this, by the way. And this is apparent more than anywhere else when it comes to taking my multi-vitamin. I usually remember to take it 2 – 3 times a week. It’s a “daily” vitamin.
I leave myself notes. I put things in my calendar. However, if I don’t read my notes, or check my calendar, I will not remember to take my vitamin.
Regardless of my bad memory, I love my iPhone. I just checked out this great new app from Life… Supplemented, (for the iPad, too) that will remind me to take my supplements.
The WannaBeWell app will do much more than just remind me to take my multi-vitamin each day, too. You can do your own research on the Supplemental Research Center, as well.
As much as I like all the things the WannaBeWell app has to offer, the Supplement Reminder is what I love the best. Because as a 40-something on-the-go mom, I feel it’s important to take a multi-vitamin. I’m busy and going from here to there all the time, so I don’t always eat a well-balanced diet. So I feel like a need to take a supplement.
Another great thing about WannaBeWell is that it’s free.
I took the Alphawell or Oh Well quiz. Let’s just say I didn’t get an Alphawell on my scorecard, but I didn’t get the Oh Well score, either. So even though I’m doing okay, there is definitely room for improvement. I’m not surprised though… I neglect my own health and really need to make it a priority.
I plan on making use of the exercise aspect of this app. You choose a “Coach” and you’ll get motivational sayings, as well as exercise reminders/goals. I so need this!
If you’ve downloaded the app or when you do, let me now how you did on the quiz.
I like that it has a health blog, The Supplemental, where you can keep up on health, supplement, and exercise information.
