I Found a Way to Improve My Posture

I’ve been exercising more lately (a blog post is coming soon about it). Yet, I sit… a lot. It comes with my job. As a professional blogger, I tend to spend hours at a time sitting at my desk on my PC.  And I’m not happy with my posture lately. Not to mention the neck and back pain I’ve been experiencing.

So I’ve been looking at height adjustable tables. I think this will be just one more way for me to get off my butt. I’ll burn more calories by standing rather than sitting, and it will help me with my neck and back pain… and of course my posture.

I was showing them to my husband and he wants to get one, too. His work, like mine, requires he spends a lot of time sitting in front of the computer screen, as well.

We are thinking about buying each other a height adjustable desk as our way of giving each other something that will make us healthier. A way to support each other in our healthier lifestyle goals.

Do you have a height adjustable table? If so I’d love to hear what you think of them. If you don’t have one, do you think it’s something you would like to try?

I know I’m excited to try one. I have a feeling my back and neck with be happy I did.

  1. Just like Jenn I am on the couch most of the day on the computer. I need to improve my posture too.

  2. That is cool!!! You know you can do some back adjusting stretches and also sit on an exercise ball instead of a chair. It forces you not only to sit up straighter, but can help tone some abs as well.
