I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Cardstore. I received complimentary cards and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

I love sending  and receiving cards. In today’s high-tech society, I love it even more. It’s just like books… I read books on my iPad, but I would much rather hold a physical book. I feel the same way about cards.

I want to hold it… see the personal message. But most importantly, I want to display my cards I receive throughout the holidays.

I like to place the cards I get throughout my home as part of my Christmas decorations. I think everyone in my family does the same thing. All the more reason to make personalized cards to send to family, friends, and acquaintances.

I love to showcase the creativity of personalized cards but more importantly, it’s a way to have a little piece of someone in my home that may live hundreds of miles away.

My Mom always displayed Christmas cards on top of the mantel. And still today, I enjoy looking at all the cards she receives when I go in to visit during the holidays. It’s a tradition. One I’ve adopted myself.

Confession: I’m always a little jealous of my mom friends who seem to send out (early, by the way) beautiful, creative masterpieces featuring their kiddos. Now, I can create my own….
