I was watching the game show Wanna Bet tonight and Melissa Peterman was one of the celebrity judges…she is one funny woman!

First, if you haven’t seen Wanna Bet yet, it is a new show on ABC, where celebrity judges can earn money for charity by betting on the success or failure of stunts, tricks and mental challenges that ordinary people dream up and perform before a studio audience.

Stunts attempted include kicking off 60 lights in 60 seconds with one foot, identifying four out of five shoes while blindfolded, and finding Ant and Dec’s car in a lot full of black cars in less than three minutes. Celebrities include Drew Lachey, Jerry Rice, Rondell Sheridan and Melissa Peterman.

Now, if you don’t know who Melissa Peterman is, she is best-known for her role as Barbra jean in Reba. 

Peterman made her film debut as “Hooker #2″ in the Coen brothers’ Oscar-winning 1996 movie Fargo.  But in 2001, Peterman landed a starring role on the long-running sitcom Reba, alongside country singer Reba McEntire, playing the new woman in the life of Reba’s former husband, Brock.  Her character “Barbra Jean” was a nutty woman who is mother to young “Henry.” The series came to an end in 2007.
