There has been a trend for sometime of couples choosing a refreshing getaway for their weddings, particular for those re-dedicating themselves to each other. In fact, many couples opt to elope, instead spending wedding funds on inexpensive rings and a great vacation. Below are some of the top places that people consider for their re-commitment ceremonies to take place.

1) Beach Venues

The beach has always been a popular place for any type of vacation. For romance, nothing beats a beach, where couples can frolic in the sand in front of crashing waves. Popular ones include:

Maui, Hawaii. The best way to save on a trip to Hawaii is to go to the West Coast on an inexpensive ticket and get a connecting flight. Consider adding a relaxing drive up the Pacific Coast Highway toward Monterey and San Francisco as part of the adventure.

Miami, Florida. Because the weather is pleasant all year, it is easy to save by visiting during the low season, from June to September or on the shoulder season during May and from October to December.

Mexican Riviera. Staying away from the high season during holidays and typical summer vacation dates is best to save on costs. For instance, spring (excepting spring break) or mid to late October is best.

Jamaica, Caribbean. September and October are the least expensive times to visit the region, where deep discounts can be found at resorts.

2) Wedding Vacation Adventures

By saving money on purchasing inexpensive wedding rings, couples who like a little more adventure can choose some of the below regions:

Wine Country, California. From wine tastings to tours, the wine country is always lovely. Anytime of year is great, just look for bargain offerings.

South Africa. Inexpensive flights and accommodations can be had during March, which is fall in this exotic locale.

Aspen, Colorado. The best time to visit this mountainous, majestic region is early December, to get the best rates on everything, making it a great time to elope.

3) European Wedding Vacations

For many couples, traveling to Europe is so alluring. Every city below is known for its exceptional romantic qualities, making them each a great venue for an intimate wedding or re-dedication ceremony. As long as you avoid the high summer season, many deals can be found on both travel and lodging.

Paris, France. As a consistently top destination in Europe, low season generally lasts from November through March.

Rome, Italy. For many people, Italy means romance. Consider booking during August and September for winter travel for the best rates.

Madrid, Spain. Another romantic favorite, there are both last minute travel prices and Internet specials available at many times of the year.

4) Down Under

Australia has become more popular through the years due to its abundant adventure and plentiful family-owned Bed & Breakfast spots, country pubs and inexpensive restaurants. The welcoming environment is easily affordable to couples looking for comfort, seclusion and adventure on a budget. Try to buy discounted tickets through consolidators for the best rates.

Regardless of where a couple plans to travel, purchasing high quality rings online at affordable prices makes it possible to have the luxurious getaway of a couple’s dreams, anywhere in the world.

Remember, less can be a whole lot more when you shop online for wedding or commitment rings as opposed to making purchases at traditional stores. In this way, you can spend the money where it counts – on a vacation and experience that provides a lifetime of memories.

By visiting sites online, you can find inexpensive wedding rings to fit your budget and allow your dream destination wedding plans to become reality!

  1. I like this post!

My sweetie and I aren’t legally married and we’ve actually thought about doing it next year. I don’t want anything big but I would love a beach wedding πŸ™‚

We’ve been together for 21 years now and at first it seemed funny to plan one…like why bother, we’re very married with kids and grandkids now πŸ™‚ But the girly girl in me wants one. Hawaii sounds perfect!

Have a great day Donna πŸ™‚

Corina, you should so do a destination wedding in Hawaii! πŸ™‚ My husband and I lived together for 11 years when we got married over 11 years ago. Since we had been together so long (and many people thought we were already married, I think), we went to Gatlinburg and got married in a chapel with my best friend and her husband there to celebrate it with us. I would love to renew our vows one day and either do it in our hometown with all my family and friends, since I didn’t the first time, or… do a beach destination wedding. But with the beach wedding it would probably be a private ceremony.

  2. I would so love for our daughter to have a destination wedding. Since she is an only child, it’s entirely do-able πŸ™‚

  3. I think traditional weddings are on the way out. They are too expensive and those destination weddings make much more cents (pun intended, but so true).

  4. I would feel way too guilty to invite anyone if I had a wedding in one of these locations, but I would surely like it as just a private event!

Liz, my husband and I have talked about renewing our vows and doing a destination wedding, but that’s what I told him… I can’t invite people to travel for it. So if we did do that, it would be just a private ceremony (with lots of photos, maybe). πŸ™‚

  5. We went to Disney World! lol If I were to do it again, I’d love to get married on a beach somewhere tropical, exotic, and not overly populated.

  6. Hawaii is the best place, so pretty!!

  7. Hubby and i are thinking about renewing our vows as much as we’d love to go to our Honeymoon location I think we’ll be escaping to Vegas for a weekend.

  8. The Hubs and I would love to renew our vows in Paris! Visiting this romantic city has always been on our bucket list.

  9. We were so broke we got married in the courthouse some 25 years ago. No honeymoon included LOL. I don’t regret it at all but I would love to renew our vows for our 30th ann’y! Then just to go somewhere and relax and soak up some sun. The Mexico Riviera sounds like the ticket! Thanks for planting the seed. Now I have a few years to save up!

  10. If I were to ever get married again, which I highly doubt will ever happen, I would definitely head over to Italy. Amazing!

  11. My Hubby and I have been together for 15 years, married 6, and I too would love to have a re-dedication ceremony (we were married at the Luxor in Vegas – which was great!) Maybe to celebrate our 10th anniversary!

  12. We were married local but I would love to renew our vows someday in a romantic location.

  13. Those are the most romantic spots to marry. πŸ™‚

  14. We’ve had a traditional wedding AND a rockabilly themed vow renewal, so we’re a bit finished with all of that, but we would still love to travel to many of these locations for a romantic getaway!

  15. I will admit I am a sucker for the beaches but I love traveling the word to new places and going outside the US.

  16. I would love to get married on the beach in Hawaii.

  17. If we could do it over, my husband and I wish we could have a beach wedding.

  18. I consider European Wedding Vacations at Paris, France as the best wedding spots destination! πŸ™‚

  19. Sounds like they are all great spots to have a wedding at!

  20. If money weren’t an issue, I think a European wedding would be absolutely beautiful! Plus, I’ve always wanted to visit.

  21. Cool ideas. I need to get a date before I worry about this stuff though…lol

  22. My husband and I will be renewing our vows soon and we’re seriously thinking of doing it somewhere other than where we live. Hawaii is first on our list of places.

  23. I think we would do Disney if we renew our vows.

  24. We made the list (Miami) I love beach weddings.

  25. When we do a renewal for our 15 year I am hoping to do it on a beach.
