Read Across America Day: Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

Dr. Seuss books are definitely some of my all-time favorites. Even today, as an adult, I enjoy reading 'Cat in the Hat', 'Green Eggs and Ham', 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas', and my favorite, 'Fox in Sox'. No other author has brought so much fun and imagination to young kids across the world, as Dr. Seuss, in my humble opinion.

He's words are lyrical. Magical. And always entertaining. I read 'Oh, Baby, the Places You'll Go!: A book to be read in Utero', many times to Cody during my pregnancy. I know he was born a Dr. Seuss fan.

In honor of Dr. Seuss, I've gathered up some of my favorite images related to Theodor Seuss Geisel, I hope you enjoy them. And don't forget to read tomorrow (and every day) for National Read Across America Day, March 2. I know we'll be reading a few Dr. Seuss books in his honor, as we eat our green eggs and ham. Do you have anything planned in celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday?
