Primeval – An Alternative To The Olympics

Primeval premiers tonight on the BBC channel, August 9, 2008,  at 9 p.m.  If you are looking for an alternative to the Summer Olympics in Beijing or just a break from it, check out Primeval

From BBCAmerica.com:  ‘When evolutionary zoologist Nick Cutter (Douglas Henshall) discovers prehistoric creatures alive and well in the present-day, the natural world is turned on its head, and humanity faces a threat to its very existence. Unexplained anomalies are ripping holes in the fabric of time, allowing creatures from the very earliest stages of Earth’s development to roam the modern world. ‘

Primeval was created by Adrian Hodges (screenwriter of the film Tom & Viv) and Tim Haines (writer/director of Walking with Dinosaurs).

If you like SciFi and fantasy shows I think you’ll like Primeval.  And I predict that we will hear a lot more about the handsome Stephen Hart, played by James Murray.

If you can’t watch Primeval tonight  maybe you can TIVO it.  If you watch it let us know what you think of it.  Hope to hear from you!

  1. I know what you mean! I have been with my husband so long – and he is a big sci-fi/fantasy buff that it has finally rubbed off on me and I actually find myself liking it now.
