Me In My HotPants!

I recently receved a pair of Zaggora HotPants to review. The term HotPants conjurs up images of a leggy woman in short shorts. Sorry to disappoint… although I'm only 5' 5" (5'4.5" actually, but you're suppose to round up, right?), I'm more legs than torso, so I've always appeared a bit leggy. However, in the HotPants, I don't look so leggy, and they're not so short short.

My husband likes me in them more than I do. They fit, and are comfortable, but I do wish they were either shorter, so they were more like shorts. Or longer so they were capri length or pant length. I do see why they probably aren't shorter… so they can work on the cellulte on the inner and outer thigh areas.

I reluctantly put up this picture of me in them — as I said, I don't thing the length is very flattering on me.

Two things that I'm not crazy about is the swishing noise they make. I wouldn't wear them to the gym or Zumba class… they're that loud. But I will wear them on my treadmill or working out to my DVDs and On Demand workout shows. And of course, while doing housework. The second thing I don't like is the big yellow logo on the left leg of the shorts. It's a bit obtrusive. Since they're "HOT"Pants, maybe a little flame as the logo would work… just a thought.

HotPants are designed to make you "hot". That means perspire or sweat more than you would typically during a workout. And this they do! I can just do a little light housework in them and will work up a decent sweat.

To be fair, I've not worn them but a hand full of times, so I can't really attest to the fact of whether you can lose weight by wearing them. I have lost another pound this week, though. And my inner thighs do seem smoother… which I would think the extra sweating and the material of the HotPants would smooth out your inner thighs.

They really are comfortable. And I love to sweat (really, I do!). If I'm really sweating, I feel like I'm doing something.

I'll continue to wear them and some time after the first of the new year, I'll do an update and let you know how they're working for me.

You can go to their website to learn more and urshce your own pair of HotPants. Keep up with what's going on with HotPants by connecting with them on Twitter and Facebook.
