I am working hard at putting my overall well-being a top priority in my life. I used to think the term well-being meant health and fitness. But I realize it means much more – it means health and wellness.

We not only need to be physically and mentally healthy, but also financially, and socially. As well as play. That’s right, having fun — really enjoying your leisure time.

This is what I love about the My Well-Being program powered by Humana.

It super easy and free to register, and once you do, you can choose a FREE Dummies book. I chose “Well-Being For Dummies” , but after I did, I wished I chose “Living the Boomer Life For Dummie, since I fall in at the very end of that group. There are 3 books to choose from.

Any of the three choices would be great to have, though.

Once you register you can take a Well-being assessment. It’s quick and easy. I scored an overall average of 3.6 so still room to improve. You can retake your well-being assessment at any time. My plans are to have a 4.0 score soon.

The assessment is based on these four categories:

  • Money
  • Health
  • People
  • Play

About MyWell-Being from mywell-being on Vimeo.

The site is very easy to navigate. I love being able to save articles to read later when I have more time or to reference at a later date.

Some of the things you can do on the site is read articles, watch videos, and get daily tips. As well as play games that will keep those mental muscles strong. And everything is personalized for YOU.

I think the My Well-Being program is truly worth signing up for. Because we all can use a little more attention to our Well-Being.
