Looking For a Way to Give Back? Give to CaringBridge #MC

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for CaringBridge. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

Giving Back

I’ve written several times about CaringBridge and how I’ve seen first-hand what this amazing non-profit organization does to help families going through long-term illnesses.

CaringBridge is kicking-off its WonderFull themed year-end giving campaign to raise $1.2 million.

CaringBridge was launched in 1997 so people–for any reason or length of time–could start a free website, remain connected to their family and friends and receive support when they need it most.

That’s what the Steinback family did when their daughter Julia was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. During her nearly three years of treatment, Julia and her family could count on one constant: the emotional and physical support they received from friends and relatives who followed Julia’s story on her CaringBridge website.

Now in remission, Joy continues to stay connected with loved ones through CaringBridge as Julia undergoes monthly checkups. For the Steinbacks, seeing their daughter happy and healthy is the greatest gift they could ask for this holiday season.

As a nonprofit, CaringBridge relies on donations to allow anyone facing a health journey the ability to rally support. Nearly 95 percent of all funding comes from people who use CaringBridge. The campaign features match contributions from three generous donors ranging from 10K to 25K.

I know the kindness and generosity of humankind, and how we rally together to help when needed. I ask you to please consider making a tax-deductible donation so that families like the Steinbacks can always get the support they need. For more information, visit https://www.caringbridge.org/give.

  1. yes caring bridge is a good tool

  2. It’s hard to envision this when you haven’t been through it, but I totally get it because I have five siblings and it’s soooooo difficult to get the info to everyone all the time about our mom’s condition.

  3. What a wonderful way to stay connected. It’s exhausting having to call each relative to deliver news, even if it’s joyful. Caring Bridge sounds like a blessing to those families.

  4. My cousin used Caring Bridge when his wife was in the hospital with cancer. It was a great way for him to keep the entire extended family up to date with prayer requests and praises. It also was an easy way for us to give them words of hope and encouragement too.

  5. I’ve never heard of this. Thanks for posting about them.

  6. This is the first I have heard of Caring Bridge. Thank you so much for the post/review.

  7. I hope to make efforts again next year to be giving.
