If you know me, you know I am a huge coffee drinker.

I drink coffee, all. the. time. All. day. long.

I sometimes think coffee runs through my veins instead of blood. Besides my loved ones…. coffee and my iPhone are two things I wouldn’t want to live without.

I make no apologies or excuses. I love it. I need it. I want it. The first thing I want upon my feet hitting the floor each morning is a mug full of caffeinated goodness. I do take mine with creamer.

About Peet’s Single Cups

After five years of development, we are proud to offer a new way to enjoy your Peet’s—in convenient Single Cups. Everyone has their coffee brewing in a single serve brewer these days, but before we offered Peet’s in this format, we wanted to make sure it was perfect: perfectly up to our standards and more importantly, your standards.

We started with the same premium Peet’s coffee you love; use a better coffee, get a better cup. We chose to use more coffee than most, but hardly indiscriminately. We’ve designed a specific dose (to the tenth of a gram) for each specific blend and a grind parameter that we measure to the micron. We’re also deploying a mesh-like filter that allows more oils and flavors to pass into the cup. All these tiny details make a gigantic difference, especially in a method that must extract in under a minute.

Something else I’m fond of are hot dogs. They’re as American as baseball and apple pies, right? Peet’s wants to know if you give a cup about hot dog eating contests.

Even though I enjoy a good hot dog, I’m a little grossed out about hot dog eating contests. Mainly because I can’t stand that you have to dunk the hot dog buns into water so you can eat them faster. Yuck.

So, I voted “No.” I do not #GiveACup to ‘Hot Dog Eating Contests’.

It would take something or someone pretty dang special for me to give up a cup of coffee, though.

How Does It Work?

Each week, you can go to doyougiveacup.com and vote on a topic. The topics are fun, current and sometimes a bit quirky. Your votes determine where they host their sampling events each week.

So if America agrees with me, you’ll find Peet’s in Indiana and 3rd Avenue in Washington DC on your way to watch fireworks.

Check out Peet’s Give a Cup social sampling experiment! Each week, you can vote whether you “give a cup” about a new topic. Your vote helps to determine where Peet’s hands out their new Single Cups. So do you #GiveACup?

Disclosure: I received a gift card as compensation but all opinions are 100% my own and may differ from yours. I will only endorse companies, products and services that I believe, based on my own experiences, are worthy of endorsement.
