Wonder Woman in Theaters in June + DC Super Hero Girls

I’m so excited for this summer’s release of Wonder Woman in theaters. I love Gal Gadot as Diana Prince and Amazon princess Wonder Woman. I was and always will be a Linda Carter fan as the original TV series Wonder Woman, but Gadot is, well, WONDERful as Wonder Woman.

I think she is a great character for girls to watch.

Wonder Woman Positive Role Model

In October of 2016, the United Nations made her an honorary ambassador for the empowerment of women and girls and for gender equality. Even though there was some protest regarding Wonder Women’s scantily clad outfit.

Scantily clad outfit aside, I think Wonder Woman is a positive role model for girls.

You can also catch her on DC Super Hero Girls….

Girl Power! That’s what your kids will find when they watch DC Super Hero Girls! The action packed girl power in DC Entertainment’s latest animated series features a dynamic group of Super Heroes on their journey of discovering the power of their unique abilities and friendships.

What I love is how dynamic the characters are, from strong and fearless to edgy and fun; there is a character for everyone. Check out the DC Super Hero Girls YouTube Channel which makes it easy for our kids to watch their favorite characters, on-demand, and from any device.

For even more fun for your readers, there is an extended online experience on the DC Super Hero Girls website where kids can play games, download free printable activities, and more.

I don’t have a daughter, but I’ll be watching these Super Hero Girls myself. I’m a huge Wonder Woman fan from way back!
