Day 3 of the #LoveMe Challenge: A Word That Describes You?

#loveme Challenge february

Blessed.

I was a little surprised at all the words I thought of to describe myself. But no word stuck out or rang more true than… blessed.

I have been richly blessed with family and friends. God brought the most amazing man into my life. My soul mate. We both were blessed with a son that is so much us that we didn’t know we weren’t complete until God blessed us with him.

I’ve been blessed with so many wonderful life experiences that would feel up page after page here, not to mention, days of non-stop writing to list them all.  I am grateful and thankful for my blessed life. ~Joyce Myer

I like this quote about being a blessing to others:

When you begin to worry, go find something to do. Get busy being a blessing to someone; do something fruitful. Talking about your problem or sitting alone, thinking about it, does no good; it serves only to make you miserable. Above all else, remember that worrying is totally useless. Worrying will not solve your problem.

Check out why I joined the #LoveMe challenge and I tweeted day 2…

  1. I have to agree with you Donna…the word I come up with is Blessed. Love your pic!

Hope all is well! Miss ya hon!

  2. So glad you are blessed. Thank you for the reminder that I am too!

  3. What an interesting daily challenge. As moms, we tend to put ourselves last so prompts such as can help us feel valuable again.

  4. I don’t know – there are so many words that could describe me. Nice picture. 🙂

  5. A word that describes me? Crafty. A person that loves me, my husband.

  6. Love this challenge thank you for introducing me to it. I love your word and it is similar to mine “Lucky” but funny how we still are describing ourselves based on others. It is because being pretty, smart, strong, etc. Is just not as important as how we care and feel for others I think it is the mom in us.

  7. Love your word! I think mine would be something fairly similar. I saw lucky mentioned above.

  8. Love that pic of you. You are adorable!
I totally agree with you! We are very blessed indeed.

  9. I would usually use the term blessed. While I am, at the moment the word coming to mind is determined, because I have been putting in crazy hours lately…lol

  10. “Blessed” is such a great word! It’s easy to forget all the blessings, even the little daily ones, that enrich our lives, and for me this post is a great reminder to count my own blessings.

  11. thanks for sharing this info. hope i could post infographics from paper scraps

  12. I would say I’m thankful. For my family, my life, my job and so much more.

  13. Such a great choice. I am so blessed as well, definitely a word I would think of to describe myself above many others.

  14. Beautiful picture! It’s the 18th today – I think I’d take a picture of Coffee for something that feeds my brain for today!! LOL.
