Halloween is a great time to get creative with your Halloween costumes. You can be anything or anyone you want. You can be something or someone you wouldn’t ordinarily be. This doesn’t mean you have to show off everything the good Lord gave you. Personally, I think there comes an age when, showing too much cleavage just isn’t appropriate.
I know the saying, “If you got it, flaunt it”, but seriously, not everyone wants to see it.
Besides, I’m a little tired of the hyper-sexualized women’s Halloween costumes. But have you looked for women’s costumes lately? Even the Frozen franchise got into the act by creating overtly sexy costumes of its characters. Sigh.

I like the Classic flapper and I agree with you I don’t want to look at women’s cleavage. Men do but if that’s all one has to try and lure a man it doesn’t say much about that someone.

I am not over forty yet, but still yearn for modest yet fun Halloween costumes for myself and my oldest daughter (who can fit into the smallest of women’s sizes at ten). Great to see there are plenty to choose from!
I like the fact that you can buy costumes, that cover your body more than a piece of cloth, but I do wish more of these costumes were made in real-size “plus size” for those who can’t squeeze into the standard plus size costume…
