Changes…

I wanted to make some changes in 2012. I didn't make any resolutions… I never seem to stick to them. But I did have some goals set to achieve for this year. However, I never thought there would be so many changes they would take place so soon into this new year. It has been a whirlwind of changes, it seems.

I can't talk about one of the changes… yet. It's a big one, too. And, exciting.

So, the other big change that has occurred in my life is that I took a full-time job. I've been freelancing for almost three years now, so to take a full-time job is major. Then… because of the change I alluded to in the above paragraph — it went from a full-time position to a part-time position. Just like that. Told you there's been a lot of changes. I held a full-time job from Jan. 2, 2012 to Jan. 27, 2012. Now, who knows, some time in the coming months, I may be able to go back to full-time. We shall see.

Working part time will allow me to get back to working on my blog a bit more. Which, I have sorely missed. But more importantly, I will be spending more time with Cody. I realize I've been working a LOT. Between freelancing, blogging, and most recently, my new job, I've come to realize that I've been a part-time mom. I am looking forward to being a more hands on mom. Oh, and my house — it has missed me, too.

I've made the decision (well it kind of was made for me, with the change I cannot speak of), and I truly believe it is the best decision for us, to concentrate on being more of a full-time mommy and wife.

Now back to Blog by Donna. I hope to start making better use of my weekends and if nothing else start post-dating blog posts so that I have something up most days. And I will have a couple of hours a day most Monday thru Wednesdays to work on it.

I thank you for being patient and loyal followers to my blog. It means more than you'll ever know. Thank you for sticking with me!

On a more lighter (pun intended) note, I also have a good start on my weight-loss goal this year. I am down 9lbs. I was a bit under-the-weather for a couple of weeks, which helped expediate my weight loss, but hey, I'll take it where I can get it.

I will admit that I'm not real good with change. I think I take after my Mom. But I'm rolling with it. Besides, change is often times, good.

“Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them;
that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow
naturally forward in whatever way they like.”  ~Lao Tzu
