This blog post is part of a paid SocialMoms and Arby’s blogging program. The opinions and ideas expressed about the Arby’s Grand Turkey Club are my own.

If you’re a regular here or know me personally, you know that Fall is my favorite time of year. I love everything about it… from the weather to the leaves changing colors, from Thanksgiving (and getting to spend it with my parents) to my son’s birthday, and especially the food.

Cooler weather brings on soups, stews, turkey, and slow cooker recipes. I do so love turkey. Okay, turkey has a special significance in our home.

My son was born on November 25, 2002, which was a Monday, but his birthday has fallen on Thanksgiving three times so far. So… he says that the turkey is his mascot. Hee-hee. Yep, he has his own mascot.

So for more reasons than one, the “turkey” is special in our home. Now don’t think that just because the turkey is my son’s mascot that we don’t also love a good roasted turkey or a delicious turkey sandwich — because we do.

It’s not like we have a turkey as a pet. Although we do have a neighbor with turkeys and every once in a while

, we will have a gang of turkeys in our yard. See… I’m tellin’ you, turkeys have a huge significance to us.

Yesterday we had the opportunity to try the new Arby’s Grand Turkey Club. I was craving a turkey sandwich and this hit the spot. The turkey was freshly sliced right there in Arby’s and the pepper bacon… well, bacon makes everything better! the Grand Turkey Club is a perfect fall sandwich.

The Grand Turkey Club is served hot on a toasted Harvest Wheat bun with sliced roast turkey, melted Swiss cheese, pepper bacon, leaf lettuce, tomato and mayo.

I enjoyed the quality of the turkey. It wasn’t some thin-sliced turkey… it really tasted like freshly sliced turkey — and it was! Arby’s is ‘slicing up freshness’.

As I mentioned above, the bacon was very tasty, and only added to the deliciousness of the turkey. A great complement to the turkey.

From the wheat bun (and I must say I was pleasantly surprised at the freshness and heartiness of the Harvest Wheat bun) to the crisp lettuce, this was a delightful sandwich, that we will get again… soon.

Arby’s Grand Turkey Club DOES have “craveability”! And thank goodness it satisfies that craving.
